Emergency preparedness
in Quesnel
From time to time, events unfold that require a co-ordinated response from multiple agencies across the region, including the City of Quesnel, Cariboo Regional District, RCMP, volunteer fire departments, ambulance services and the Emergency Social Services Team. The team from the City of Quesnel that responds organizes the Emergency Operations Centre and provides a co-ordinated response to the emergency at hand.
Forest fires, floods or landslides are all typical scenarios that could require this type of co-ordinated response.
During times of crisis, check this page for important information and updates.
For more information contact the Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department Deputy Chief Sylvain Gauthier at 250.992.5121, City Hall at 250.992.2111 or Public Works at 250.992.6330.
