Mayor Mary Sjostrom is serving her first term as Mayor of Quesnel after having served three terms on City Council.

Mary is an enthusiastic community booster, a politician who revels in embracing challenges while remaining positive and upbeat.

·          UBCM representative - Off-Road Vehicle Joint Advisory Group
·          Honourary Chair – Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion Quesnel Team

Mary has three grown children and resides in South Quesnel with her husband Butch. She is an active community volunteer involved in several initiatives, including being a founding member of the Quesnel 2000 Sunrise Rotary Club.
